Why Russians have started using 'Kalibr' missiles more frequently: explanation from the Navy.

In the last month, Russian cruise missiles 'Kalibr' have been used most actively against Ukraine. This was reported by the representative of the Navy of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Dmytro Pletenchuk, in a program on the 'Kyiv24' TV channel.

According to him, the loading method of 'Kalibr' missiles depends on the type of missile carriers and conditions. 'There are surface ships, submarines - accordingly, the loading process is different. Also, the missiles themselves require additional preparation, which is a complex process,' Pletenchuk explained.

Pletenchuk stated that most of the logistics are located in Crimea, occupied by the Russians, however, the occupiers actively use 'Kalibr' missiles from Novorossiysk. 'In Novorossiysk, they have been loading missiles for more than a year and use them periodically. Last month was a record-breaking period for a long Time,' the military added.

Also, Pletenchuk noted that the military constantly monitors the situation in the Black and Azov seas. In the Azov Sea, Russian ships have been absent for almost a year due to the resistance of the Navy of Ukraine.

The increase in the use of 'Kalibr' missiles indicates attempts by Russian occupiers to compensate for fleet losses by increasing the use of missile systems from safe bases.
