Budanova's wife appeared in public for the first time after poisoning with heavy metals (video, photo).


Mariana Budanova, the wife of the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense, appeared in public for the first Time after being poisoned with heavy metals. Budanova, along with her husband, attended a special YES meeting in Kyiv and communicated with its guests. This was reported by 'Glavkom' citing the 'Novyny.LIVE' page on Instagram.
The footage shows that Mariana is in good condition and smiling. Together with Kyrylo Budanov, they spoke with the guests of the event.
The couple had a brief conversation with Ukrainian oligarch Viktor Pinchuk.

Mariana was also closely watching her husband's speech at the conference.
Recall that this is the first public appearance of Budanova's wife after it became known on November 28, 2023, that she was poisoned with heavy metals. The substances found in Mariana's body, according to intelligence, 'are not used in everyday life and military affairs' and include mercury and arsenic. Meanwhile, Kyrylo Budanov showed no symptoms. The case was classified as attempted murder. It is assumed that Budanov was 'most likely poisoned through food'. Currently, she has completed her treatment course.
Note that Kyrylo Budanov's wife – Mariana – is a psychologist by profession. At the same time, it is known that she ran for a deputy position in the Kyiv City Council and for some time was an advisor to Vitali Klitschko on issues of detecting and preventing corruption in youth policy and sports.
Earlier, 'Glavkom' reported on the life path and poisoning of the third president of Ukraine, Viktor Yushchenko. The day before, the Ukrainian politician celebrated his 71st birthday.
