French Mirage 2000-5 fighters will soon arrive in Ukraine, reported French Foreign Minister Jean-Noel Barrot. He confirmed that the aircraft will undergo final checks by the end of the first quarter, according to the words of French President Emmanuel Macron.
'Soon, French 'Mirages' will fly over Ukraine,' Barrot said.
In June 2024, President Macron stated that France would transfer Mirage 2000 fighters to Ukraine. Six aircraft are planned to be transferred. Ukrainian pilots have already completed training on Mirage 2000-5F fighters.
