The main blow is yet to come: the US revealed what revenge Putin is preparing for the planes.

American officials are convinced that Russia is preparing to respond to the 'Web' operation when Ukrainian drones attacked Russian strategic aviation.
According to Reuters, sources in the US believe that Russia's reaction will be broad and complex. The timing of a possible attack is currently unknown, but the response could come quite quickly. Officials did not disclose which specific targets might be Russia's objectives, but emphasized that this will be an 'asymmetrical' response.
Despite the examination of Kyiv by drones and missiles in response to Ukraine's 'terrorist actions', Washington believes that the main blow from Russia is still ahead of us. A Western diplomat suggests that Russia might choose symbolic targets, such as government buildings, to send a signal to Kyiv.
Expert Michael Kaufman of the Carnegie Endowment believes that Russia may attack SBU buildings or regional intelligence management facilities. Meanwhile, he noted that due to limited capabilities, Russia is unlikely to be able to significantly increase the intensity of its attacks. 'Russia's ability to significantly ramp up strikes compared to what it has is limited,' he explained. Russia has already directed a significant portion of its military forces towards Ukraine.
The Ukrainian 'Web' operation provoked the expected reaction from Russia, including a possible asymmetrical response. American officials believe this is just the beginning, and the main blow from Russia may still occur. The situation remains tense, as hordes of troops are still massing at the borders with Ukraine.
