HUR suggested what to do instead of waiting for a quick peace in Ukraine.

Andriy Yusov, a representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate (HUR) of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, reported on the end of the war. He stated this in an interview with the YouTube channel Digest Blaush.
Yusov supported the words of US President Donald Trump about the need for peace and the cessation of the war, which brings suffering to people.
Waiting is not worth it. We must work hard on this. And such work is ongoing, as are our political, military leaders, and Ukrainian diplomats, including the public sector, cultural diplomacy, and concerned NGOs actively engaged in this. And yes, our partners are also working on this.
He also noted that important events are expected in Ukraine soon, which will bring good news. Among them are the Munich Security Conference and others. At the same Time, he emphasized that the main events are happening at the front.
This should not be forgotten. Therefore, those who helped and continue to help are doing the right thing. Those who support Ukrainian security and defense forces, help, donate. Those who cannot donate are supporting in other ways. In essence, we should not relax. We cannot afford to sit by the TV and wait for good news.
In response to questions regarding the statements of certain members of parliament about not extending martial law, Yusov noted that they communicate according to their political prospects and goals to attract attention.
I understand that these members of parliament are also deeply concerned about the fate of Ukraine, but at the same time, they are politicians and communicate based on their political prospects and the goal of attracting attention.
According to Yusov, HUR relies on real facts and official messages.
When they are available, we will discuss them specifically. Forecasts remain mere forecasts, even when we talk about meteorologists and weather forecasts.
We remind that ISW expert assessed Ukraine's negotiation capabilities.
