Chinese Tech Giants Unveil Strategies to Bypass American Semiconductor Sanctions.

Chinese Companies in the Fight for Artificial Intelligence
Leading technology companies in China, such as Tencent and Baidu, are developing strategies to remain competitive in the global battle for artificial intelligence despite semiconductor supply restrictions. Companies are actively seeking ways to enhance their AI models and utilize domestic chips.
Martin Lau, president of Tencent, stated: 'We can achieve good training results with fewer chips than American companies.'
Tencent is using its existing chip inventory and software optimization to boost efficiency. Baidu emphasizes that their AI technologies allow them to create powerful applications even without access to the latest chips.
Dou Shen, president of Baidu's AI cloud business, stressed: 'Our unique AI capabilities enable us to create valuable applications.'
While China lags behind the US in GPU and AI chip development, significant progress has already been made. Chinese companies are actively developing the semiconductor ecosystem and exploring new ways to enhance the efficiency of their models.
The CEO of Nvidia considers export restrictions a failure that harms American businesses more than those in China.
