Russian drones attacked cities in Chernihiv and Kharkiv regions
This night, the city of Pryluky in Chernihiv region came under attack by Russian drones, reported the head of the Chernihiv OVA Vyacheslav Chaus. The enemy attack occurred on the night of June 5, when Russian terrorists used strike drones of the 'Geran' type.
As a result of this attack, five people were killed, including two women and a one-year-old child. Another six individuals were injured and taken to hospitals. Fires also broke out in the residential sector due to the strikes, destroying houses, garages, and vehicles.
Kharkiv also under attack by Russian forces
Also on the night of June 5, Russian troops attacked Kharkiv using Shahed-type drones. Two residential buildings were hit in the Slobidsky district of the city. The number of injured reached 17, including children. Fortunately, all the injured are in stable condition and received medical assistance.
Currently, the war is in its 1197th day, during which Russian invaders have carried out numerous missile and aviation strikes, as well as shelling positions of the Ukrainian military. Defense forces are actively resisting the aggressor, focusing efforts on repelling enemy attacks and exhausting their potential.
As a result of the attacks by Russian drones on cities in the Chernihiv and Kharkiv regions, five people have died, and 17 individuals have been injured, including children. Ukrainian forces continue active defense and resistance to enemy attacks.
