Russian troops hit Kherson with air bombs: 20 injured reported.


Today, on October 7, Russian occupiers launched an airstrike on Kherson, during which four aerial bombs were dropped. According to the head of the Kherson regional military administration, Oleksandr Prokudin, 20 people were injured in this attack, including small children.
The strike occurred around 10:30, and damage was recorded to the previously destroyed school and residential buildings in the Central district of the city.
Initially, 17 people were reported injured, including two children: a 2-year-old boy and a 4-year-old girl who suffered injuries from the explosion and shrapnel. The children were hospitalized, and their condition is currently stable.
Additionally, 14 people were hospitalized - 6 men and 8 women. Later, two more people sought medical attention. An 18-year-old young man was diagnosed with an explosive injury and leg wounds, and a 66-year-old man sustained an explosive injury.
Recall that on the night of October 7 and up until 08:30 in the morning, Russian troops conducted a massive missile strike on Ukrainian territory. The Russian Federation used Iskander-M ballistic missiles, Kh-59 air missiles, and unmanned aerial vehicles, as reported by the Air Force press service of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Russian missiles were launched from Kursk and Belgorod regions, as well as from the Orlov, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Kursk, and Yeisk districts. Around 08:20, the enemy attacked with three aeroballistic missiles Kh-47M2 'Kinzhal' from MiG-31K planes that took off from the Savasleyka airfield in the Tambov region.
Earlier, Russian occupiers struck the cultural center in Kherson.
By the way, on October 1, 2024, around 9:00, Russian troops struck the center of Kherson with artillery. The shelling took place near the local market and public transport stop.
Additionally, the Russians made subsequent strikes on the Zaporizhzhia region, particularly on the city of Zaporizhzhia.
