The dollar exchange rate in Ukraine will remain stable with slight fluctuations until December 15. The forecasted range on the cash market will be from 41.5 to 42 hryvnias per dollar.
According to Taras Lesovyi, head of the treasury department of 'Globus Bank', on the interbank market the rate will fluctuate within the range of 41.4-41.8 hryvnias per dollar. At the same Time, a slight widening of the corridor is expected on the cash market.
The expert notes that several factors will affect the currency market: power outages, the situation at the front, and overall uncertainty. However, the pre-New Year's period may be accompanied by an increase in currency supply from the population.
According to current estimates, the cost of 100 dollars will range from 4150 to 4200 hryvnias, while 1000 dollars will cost from 41500 to 42000 hryvnias.
The National Bank of Ukraine continues to play a key role in maintaining the balance between demand and supply in the currency market. ICU analysts predict that by the end of December 2024, the exchange rate of the hryvnia may reach 42 hryvnias per dollar.
