The US Secretary of Defense, Pete Gage, confirmed that American defense systems have been moved from Ukraine to the Middle East. He explained that this decision was made for the more effective use of defense resources due to the increasing threat from drones in modern conflicts.
'One of the questions was: 'Have you transferred part of your drone countermeasures from Ukraine to the Middle East?' I replied that yes, we have transferred them.'
It is also worth noting that during a conversation with American President Trump, Russian President Putin agreed on a date for further dialogue with Ukraine.
To use defense resources more effectively in light of the increasing threat from drones, the US has moved its defense systems from Ukraine to the Middle East.
