Turkey Introduces New Rule in Restaurants That Will Appeal to Visitors.

New rules will be introduced in Turkey to enhance transparency and quality control in the food service industry. Starting from 2025, cafes and restaurants will use special QR codes that allow visitors to quickly access complete information about the establishment. This will strengthen food safety controls and improve service quality. Additionally, the introduction of QR codes will help create comfortable conditions for guests and contribute to the positive image of Turkey as a tourist destination. It is expected that the use of QR codes will become mandatory for all food service establishments.
Food Security Assurance Program
This new initiative is part of a broader program by Turkey to ensure food security, which the country's authorities are implementing through modern technologies. New rules have also been introduced for public establishments regarding price display, which will enhance pricing transparency and protect consumer rights. Turkey is also preparing to adopt a new law against foreign influence, which is currently causing outrage among public activists.
