In Houston, a helicopter crashed into a radio tower: four dead, including a child.

A helicopter crash occurred in Houston, resulting in the deaths of several people. This was reported by FOX 26 Houston.
According to the data, the R44 helicopter collided with a radio tower after taking off from Ellington Field. There were four people on board, including a child. Information about the deceased has not yet been disclosed.
According to officials, no one on the ground was injured or killed.
The mayor of Houston emphasized that the situation could have been much more serious because a butane tank was nearby. The helicopter and tower were destroyed, but buildings were not damaged.
«We were lucky that something worse didn't happen, especially considering there was a butane tank nearby», said Mayor John Whitmire.
Houston representatives report that the site is secured. As noted by Houston Fire, while buildings were not affected, a large area of grass was destroyed.
The crash is being investigated by the Federal Aviation Administration, the National Transportation Safety Board, and the Department of Public Safety. The police urge citizens to refrain from handling findings and to report their discovery to 911. The investigation is expected to last several days.
