The PFC clarified the conditions for receiving additional heating assistance and who will be refused.

Ukrainians who use solid fuel for heating can receive additional state support in the 2024-2025 heating season.
This was reported by the Deputy Chair of the Board of the Pension Fund of Ukraine, Iryna Kovpashko, on the TV marathon "United News".
"Households that do not use centralized heating, natural gas, or electricity for heating are eligible for additional support. Such people must annually apply for a housing subsidy or benefit," Kovpashko noted.
According to her, to arrange the subsidy, an application and a declaration of household income and expenses must be submitted. It is important to submit the documents by December 1st - in this case, the subsidy will be granted from the beginning of the heating season (from October 1st).
"The amount of the granted subsidy can be checked in the personal account on the web portal of the Pension Fund of Ukraine's electronic services. We have posted information about the amount of payments for the entire heating period - from October to April," reported the Deputy Chair of the PFC Board.
At the same Time, the subsidy may be refused if there are deposits over 100,000 hryvnias, purchases worth more than 50,000 hryvnias during the income accounting period, several vehicles or housing units, as well as debts for utility services over 680 hryvnias.
We also wrote that Ukrainians can apply for a utility subsidy through a simplified procedure: a step-by-step algorithm.
