The PFU explained what documents pensioners need for video identification
The Pension Fund of Ukraine explained what documents pensioners need to undergo video identification.
The press service of the PFU reports that in the conditions of wartime with a large number of internally displaced persons, the issue of remote identification of pensioners has become particularly relevant. Therefore, the Pension Fund of Ukraine has introduced a video identification procedure that allows confirming the identity of the pension recipient without visiting the branch. Some are interested in what documents are needed for this.
The PFU explained that to undergo video identification, a pensioner needs to have an identity document, usually a passport of a citizen of Ukraine. Recipients of children's pensions need a birth certificate.
'If a legal representative or assistant of the pensioner is present during the video identification, in addition to their own identity document, they must provide a document confirming the powers of the legal representative (The procedure for establishing the identity of the pension recipient by the territorial body of the Pension Fund of Ukraine for monthly lifetime cash maintenance of the judge and other social benefits via video conferencing, approved by the resolution of the board of the Pension Fund of Ukraine on 20.11.2023 No. 49-2 and registered with the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine on 05.12.2023 No. 2111/41167)'
Let us remind you, the PFU reported where the poorest pensioners in Ukraine live.
