Last night, drones attacked the Moscow region. The Russian Ministry of Defense claimed to have shot down drones, but information appeared online about one hitting an apartment building. Relevant videos circulated online, reports 'Glavcom'.

It is reported that a drone hit a high-rise building in Krasnogorsk. According to Russian social media outlets, an apartment on the 17th floor caught fire. Firefighters arrived at the scene and extinguished the flames.

Preliminary reports indicate no injuries. Debris from the UAV also fell in the residential complex. Residents were evacuated from the buildings.

The Mayor of Moscow, Sergey Sobyanin, stated that Russian air defense shot down two drones that were heading towards Moscow. 

Powerful Fire in the Moscow Region

It is noted that a powerful fire broke out in the Moscow region. The fire was recorded in Krasnogorsk at a factory producing rubber footwear. It is stated that a huge column of black smoke rose over the city, and people complain about the acrid smell of burning.
