Ukraine and the USA discussed the ceasefire at sea and in the sky during negotiations in Saudi Arabia.

Negotiations between Ukraine and the USA in Jeddah: ceasefire at sea and in the sky
The first negotiations between Ukrainian and American delegations took place in Jeddah, where Ukraine's proposal for establishing a ceasefire at sea and in the sky, as well as an agreement on rare earth metals, was discussed. This was reported by a source from Suspilne, familiar with the course of the meeting.
The meeting took place on March 11 in Jeddah with the participation of the head of the President's Office Andriy Yermak, Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha, Defense Minister Rustem Umerov, and Deputy Head of the Presidential Office Pavlo Palisa. The American delegation was led by Secretary of State Marco Rubio together with U.S. National Security Advisor Mike Wolt.
'Right now, we believe it is necessary to discuss the most important thing – how to start this process. We are very open and want to have a constructive, deep, friendly, partnership dialogue with our American partners,' Yermak told reporters.
According to sources in the Ukrainian delegation, the negotiations are taking place in a constructive and substantive manner. After the first round ended and a short break, the second round began, during which the parties are discussing security guarantees for Ukraine.
U.S. National Security Advisor Mike Wolt noted in a comment to CNN that negotiations with Ukraine 'are progressing.'
Hope for the framework of peace negotiations and an agreement on minerals
The meeting takes place against the backdrop of the United States suspending military assistance to Ukraine. The day before, Secretary of State Rubio suggested the possibility of its restoration if the negotiations are successful.
It is expected that during the meeting the parties will discuss the framework for peace negotiations to end the war between the Russian Federation and Ukraine, and may finalize or even sign an agreement on minerals.
