Ukrainians with disabilities and those temporarily unfit will need more documents for deferment.

The government has amended the procedure for conscripting citizens for military service during mobilization
The government of Ukraine has amended the procedure for conscripting citizens for military service during mobilization. According to the amendments, the list of documents confirming the right to deferment for persons with disabilities and those temporarily unfit for service due to health reasons has been expanded.
One of the innovations is the addition of an extract from the decision of the expert team on assessing the daily functioning of the individual to the list of documents confirming the right to deferment. This document is sent to military, intelligence, and social organizations.
In addition, the list of documents confirming the right to deferment includes a certificate for the act of examination by the medical and social expert commission, a disability status certificate, a pension certificate, and other documents confirming the appointment of social assistance.
A significant innovation is the possibility of using electronic data. If possible, electronic data is transmitted to the Unified State Register of conscripts in the order of electronic information interaction.
There is also a new procedure for assessing military personnel and law enforcement officers. The assessment of military personnel and law enforcement officers is now conducted taking into account the decisions of military-medical and medical commissions.
It was previously explained when Ukrainians do not need to appear for a summons to undergo a military medical commission.
