Over 500 Enemy Attack Means Destroyed by the Air Force
During the past week, the Ukrainian Air Force's air defense has destroyed over 500 enemy air attack means.
In particular, the following means were shot down:
- 2 guided air-to-surface missiles;
- 375 Shahed-type strike UAVs;
- 71 reconnaissance UAVs;
- 59 UAVs of other types.
According to military representatives, throughout the week, Air Force aircraft conducted over 30 international reconnaissance, cover, enemy target engagement, and ground unit support flights. As a result, dozens of air strikes were carried out against enemy positions using various types of bombs and missiles. Command posts, equipment, and enemy personnel were destroyed, - the report states.
Furthermore, as part of the operations of the Combined Infantry Brigade of the Air Force, there were 64 engagements with FPV drones, 144 successful UAV drops, 11 shooting battles, and 1100 reconnaissance UAV missions. As a result, enemy personnel and equipment, field ammunition depots, and dozens of aerial targets were destroyed.
