Ukrainian wrestlers won 13 medals at the U17 European Championship.

The U17 European Championship in wrestling took place in Skopje, North Macedonia, from June 11 to 15. The competition gathered 558 athletes from 32 countries, competing for medals in women's, freestyle, and Greco-Roman wrestling. Ukraine was represented by 30 athletes.

In women's wrestling – 2nd place in the team ranking, 5 medals:

• Silver: Ivanna Lukyanenko (weight 57 kg)
• Bronze: Kamila Kuchma (weight 46 kg), Kristina Demchuk (weight 73 kg), Martina Modna (weight 43 kg), Olena Kolubay (weight 49 kg)

In freestyle wrestling – 2nd place in the team ranking, 5 medals:

• Gold: Zorab Aloyev (weight 60 kg), Artur Kostiuk (weight 80 kg)
• Silver: Robert Aloyev (weight 51 kg), Ihor Oliynyk (weight 71 kg), Ivan Zalisko (weight 65 kg)

In Greco-Roman wrestling – 4th place in the team ranking, 3 medals:

• Silver: Timur Larin (weight 92 kg)
• Bronze: Anatoliy Novachenko (weight 110 kg), Denys Seredin (weight 60 kg)

During the same period, Ukrainian fencers impressed at the European Championship in Italy. In total, our wrestlers won 13 medals, achieving high results on the international stage. They represented Ukraine with dignity and earned widespread recognition for their achievements.

The national team demonstrated impressive results, taking honorable places in the team rankings of women's, freestyle, and Greco-Roman wrestling.
