Power outages return: 'Ukrenergo' reported details.

Power outages due to heat return
Starting Monday, August 19, power outage schedules are returning in Ukraine due to the heat. One queue will be applied in the evening hours. This was announced by the head of "Ukrenergo" Volodymyr Kudrytskyi on a television marathon.
The head of "Ukrenergo" reported that next week the load on the power system will be increased. As Kudrytskyi noted, on weekends, consumption drops, so Saturday and Sunday of next week will be easier.
"So far, we see a fairly detailed forecast for tomorrow. Indeed, the deficit we see for the evening cannot be covered, unfortunately, neither by increased production, for example at hydroelectric power plants, nor by additional volumes of emergency assistance from Europe, and therefore we are forced to resort to consumer outages," said the head of "Ukrenergo".
Recall that DTEK plans to return 60-70% of the generation, which it lost as a result of Russian mass shelling in the spring of this year, to work by October.
Earlier, "Ukrenergo" predicted a decrease in power outages in August-October. The head of "Ukrenergo" Volodymyr Kudrytskyi noted that the electricity deficit in Ukraine's power system would gradually decrease during August, September, and October, provided there are no new large-scale shellings.
