Drivers in Ukraine have been shown which cars will be subject to luxury tax.

The Ministry of Economy has approved the list of cars that will be taxed in 2025
The press service of the Ministry of Economy reported that the Ministry of Economy has provided a list of passenger cars that will be subject to transport tax in 2025. It is worth reminding that this tax in Ukraine amounts to 25 thousand hryvnias.
Cars that were manufactured within the last 5 years and have an engine capacity of over 2.5 liters are included in the list of taxable vehicles.
Among such cars, one can find brands such as Aston Martin, Audi, Bentley, BMW, Hymer-Mercedes, Ineos, Jaguar, Lamborghini, Land Rover, Lexus, Maserati, Mercedes-AMG, Mercedes-Benz, Mercedes-Maybach, Porsche, Rolls-Royce, and Toyota.
The transport tax is paid in accordance with the Tax Code of Ukraine. Owners of passenger cars pay a fixed amount of tax of 25 thousand hryvnias per year, regardless of the value of the car. The collected funds are directed to local budgets.
It should be noted that the transport tax falls into the category of property taxes, alongside real estate taxes and land payments. However, this tax has its peculiar feature - a fixed amount that the car owner must pay. This tax can be paid by both individuals and legal entities, while the payment procedure differs for them.
In a popular myth among drivers claiming that the police no longer fines for unpaid transport taxes, police officers have refuted this information.
