Volhynian Tragedy: It Became Known When The Exhumation of Victims Will Begin.

The Start of The Exhumation of Victims of The Volhynian Tragedy in Spring
The Ambassador of Ukraine to Poland, Vasyl Bodnar, confirmed that the start of the exhumation of the victims of the Volhynian Tragedy will take place in the spring.
'We plan to conduct the exhumation of the victims of the Volhynian massacre in the spring at the first site that has already received permission, namely in Puzhnyki. We are also working on making decisions regarding all other sites on Ukrainian and Polish territory', he said on air at TVN24, as reported by 'European Truth'.
When asked if the exhumations in Puzhnyki would begin in April, Bodnar replied that 'we do not yet know in which month, but we are preparing so that, if the weather permits, all permits are issued and the team from the Polish side is ready to start this work.'
'According to Ukrainian legislation, there must be a Ukrainian company that is licensed to carry out such work, the Polish side already has such a partner (...)
This cooperation is developing with a Ukrainian institution, it has received all the permits, and when the teams leave together and start digging, then the community will learn about it, and we will announce it through the ministers of culture', said Bodnar.
It was previously reported that the 'Freedom and Democracy' fund, which found this burial site in Puzhnyki two years ago, received permission from the Ukrainian authorities to excavate the remains from the ground and conduct further research.
Reports indicate that approximately 80 people died in Puzhnyki during the tragic events of 1945.
