Zelensky Stripped State Awards from Former Ministers, Deputies, Law Enforcement Officials, and Artists: List of Traitors.


Zelensky Signed a Decree to Strip State Awards
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky signed a decree regarding the decision of the National Security and Defense Council to strip state awards from those who betrayed Ukraine. He announced this on his Telegram channel.
According to the NSDC's decision, 34 individuals have lost state distinctions permanently. Among them are former officials, members of parliament, heads of the Security Service of Ukraine and the Prosecutor General's Office, prosecutors, artists, as well as Russian political, religious, and cultural figures.
In addition to stripping of awards, the maximum sanctions have been applied to ten individuals, which include 21 types of restrictions. Among them are asset freezing, cancellation of licenses and permits, as well as cessation of all trade operations.
Among those stripped of state awards are, in particular:
- Singers Karolina Kuiek (Ani Lorak) and Taisia Povaliy;
- Former deputy of the II-IV and IX convocations Viktor Medvedchuk;
- Former first deputy leader of the political party 'Party of Regions' and head of the respective faction Oleksandr Yefremov;
- Former First Deputy Prosecutor General of Ukraine Renat Kuzmin;
- Former Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov;
- Former Minister of Education and Science (2010–2014) Dmytro Tabachnyk;
- Footballer Anatoliy Tymoshchuk;
- Former Prosecutor General of Ukraine Viktor Pshonka;
- Head of the Russian Orthodox Church Patriarch Kirill;
- Former deputy of the III-IX convocations Andriy Derkach;
- Russian singers Nikolai Baskov, Philip Kirkorov, Alexander Malinin, Russian composer Igor Krutoy.
'State awards in Ukraine are given to those who faithfully serve and protect our country, not to those who side with the enemy and help destroy the state,' emphasized President Zelensky.
