Earthquake in Istanbul: the moment of tremors caught live on air (video).


During a live broadcast on CNN in Istanbul, an earthquake occurred. The cameras captured a series of underground tremors live on air.
At the moment of the interview conducted by journalist Meltem Bozbayoglu, the studio began to shake violently, which is clearly visible in the recording.
According to Ukrinform, as a result of the earthquake that occurred today in Istanbul, Turkey, 236 people were injured. People were hurt while trying to evacuate in panic.
"A total of 236 individuals sought medical assistance for issues such as panic, injuries from falls and jumps... Most of them received outpatient care. All are in satisfactory condition and continue to receive treatment," said Health Minister Kemal Memisoglu.
It should be noted that on Wednesday, April 23, an earthquake with a magnitude of 6.2 occurred in several cities in Turkey. It was particularly felt in Istanbul. The first underground tremors were felt in Istanbul around 2:38 PM (local Time). The Emergency Management Office reported that the epicenter of the earthquake was located off the coast of the Sea of Marmara.
