OpenAI CEO Sam Altman predicted how and when super AI will radically change people's lives.

Technological entrepreneur and investor Sam Altman published an article titled "The Intelligence Age" on his blog, in which he examines the impact of artificial intelligence on society in the future.
According to Altman, in the coming decades, humanity will be able to accomplish things that would have seemed like magic to our grandparents. This phenomenon, he says, is not new, but the development of artificial intelligence will significantly accelerate it.
"We have become much more capable not because of genetic changes, but due to a smarter infrastructure of society," writes Altman.
Altman believes that the development of artificial intelligence will provide people with tools to solve complex problems and contribute to progress. He predicts that soon people will be able to work with artificial intelligence, which will help achieve the unattainable for us.
Altman describes a future where each person will have their own team of artificial intelligence working together to create almost anything. He predicts the emergence of virtual tutors for children who can provide individual instructions on any subject, in any language, and at any pace.
"With these new possibilities, we can achieve shared prosperity on an incredible scale," claims Altman.
Altman believes that the development of artificial intelligence is the most significant fact in human history and that its promising condition is the creation of superintelligence. He predicts that this may happen in just a few thousand days.
Altman warns about the need to increase computing power and energy resources to make artificial intelligence accessible to more people. He emphasizes that without the necessary infrastructure, artificial intelligence can become a limited resource, leading to conflicts and being a tool only for the rich.
Altman acknowledges that the transition to the "Intelligence Age" will be a challenging process, but believes that the potential benefits are worth considering in the context of risks. He predicts that the impact of artificial intelligence will lead to achievements that seem incredible today.
The author of the article also acknowledges the possible negative consequences of the development of artificial intelligence, particularly changes in the labor market. However, he is confident that most jobs will change more slowly than people expect, and we will always have activities to engage in.
Altman ends the article on an optimistic note, expressing the opinion that the future will be so bright that it is impossible to predict it today. He predicts that achievements, such as solving the problem of climate change, developing space colonies, and discovering all the laws of physics, will become a reality.
