The Voronezh military airfield 'Baltimore' was attacked by drones, according to Russian Telegram channels. According to Governor Alexander Gusev, air defense forces shot down five drones. As a result of the drone falls, windows in several apartments in the Left Bank district of Voronezh were damaged. Fortunately, no one was injured. According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, 10 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles were destroyed within three hours, five of which were shot down over the Voronezh region.
The military airfield 'Baltimore' is located approximately 175 km from the Ukrainian border and is the base of the 47th Bomber Aviation Regiment of the 105th Mixed Aviation Division. The main type of aircraft at this airfield is Su-34.
It is worth noting that unknown drones also attacked the city of Safonovo in the Smolensk region and the largest seaport of the Russian Federation - Ust-Luga in the Leningrad region. In connection with this, a 'Carpet' plan was implemented at Pulkovo airport due to the threat of drone attacks.
